Leaving Buffalo and getting away from it all

...Suzanne Wright also sees women from the Buffalo area interested in getting away from it all. Wright is the founder of Fun Getaway Gal, a Finger Lakes company that helps women plan getaways. "The gals [from Buffalo] are a little more adventurous and I like that," Wright says. "They’re willing to try some different things."

Wright helps groups plan activities in Chautauqua-Allegany, Niagara Falls, the Finger Lakes, the 1,000 Islands and the Adirondacks.

"I see a lot more women taking the time to make time for themselves," Wright says. "And it's in all different age groups and that’s amazing. Women are coming to the realization that in order to be all that they need to be for their families, they need to take time to nourish themselves or they won’t have anything to give away."
